does anyone know where i can obtain lesson plans for 3 year olds for the Cathechesis of the Good Shepperd?

You receive them when you take the classes to become a CGS catechist.

Thanks, I thought that I has seen a book online with lesson plans for CCGD.

I just agreed to teach the preschool PSR for our parish, previously I taught 7th grade and I was looking for help/ advice on helping the kids develop their relationship with the Lord. This is both exciting and nerve racking at the same time. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Also, the parish is giving me a book but, from previous experience it helps to have many sources.

Keep it simple and them (the kids) moving. Storytime is simple. Coloring is a favorite. Can you get them a tour of the church?

I wish we could do a tour of the church but given the timing, during 9:00 mass, it would be challenging. There is however, a chapel in the preschool building and we could try that. I wish that we could have one of the deacons, if allowable, give a small children’s mass. Thanks for the idea!

Here’s a suggestion:

There is a book - Catholic Bible Study -KIDS: The Life of Jesus.

It is designed for Pre-School / Early Elementary.

You can check it out at www.CatholicBibleStudy.net

There are very easy and economical crafts for the kids. I just did the "Let the little children come to me… . " with Pre-School - with their handprints.
