Catechism app for ipod?

[Dr_Paul]

Does anyone know of a good app to read and study the catechism using an ipod touch or iphone?

I have used the olivetree bible reader for studying scripture. It contains a search feature that I love. I have not been able to find anything for the catechism. I know that there are versions that work with palm devices. I have also heard that some have been able to read it using a Kindle so it may work with stanza or another book reader but I’m not sure that it would be as versatile as the bible reader program. If it contained the compendium, even better yet.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If one does not exist, are there any developers out there that are interested in taking up the task?

I agree that it would be an awesome app. It would take more than a developer though. The Catechism is copyrighted and rights would have to be obtained. My gut feeling is that the Church would not allow it except through her own sources in order to maintain the integrity of the text.

The Catechism is available as part of Wattpad. You can download Wattpad from the app store, then search for books 2114 for the 1st half and 2115 for the second half.
