How do I reconcile past doctrinal statements about the dignity of man and what the Catechism says? Here is the link
I though SSPX discussions were banned. How do I reconcile past doctrinal statements about the dignity of man and what the Catechism says? Here is the link
It isn’t a discussion of the SSPX, its a discussion concerning old and new catechisms.I though SSPX discussions were banned.
Fine with me, then can you please explain to me why there are no details in the post except for a link to SSPX?It isn’t a discussion of the SSPX, its a discussion concerning old and new catechisms.
It seems that the Roman Church, or at least its “governing board” is not very sure of its faith… (from your link)Because it is the only link that shows the “differences” between church doctrine and the CCC.
If it’s to be equated with wine and wineskins, the author has it backwards. The CCC is like putting old wine (2000 yr old Catholic doctrine) into new wineskins (language more understandable in the present age).Quote from the article:
In other words, “a new wine in old wineskins,” contrary to the counsel of Our Lord (Mt.9:17).
