The Catholic Academy for Communication Professionals is giving a Brigham Young University original film project its highest honor: the 2013 Gabriel Award for “best entertainment.”

“Silent Night,” a full-length, BYUtv movie, was filmed in Austria and tells the story of the popular Christmas carol, written in the 19th century by priest and composer Joseph Mohr.

besides, why wouldn’t a Catholic Academy give an award on a film about a Catholic Priest as long as it is done well?

The bigger news is that the LDS folks made a movie about a Catholic Priest.

Maybe they finally saw the light

The Knights of Columbus effort is truly admirable and shows a sincere effort to follow Christ’s example (“who went about doing good” - Acts 10:38)
