I’m curious what the educational background is for those who are members of the forum.

I went to a public grade school, a Catholic high school, and a Catholic college.

I picked “Convert- Non-Catholic Grade School” though I actually am yet to become Catholic (TST 2009!), I currently go to a private school, though I will be going public next year. I also plan on going to a Catholic college.

I went to a catholic grade school and a catholic high school ( all girls school)

Elementary school - Catholic. High School - Catholic Undergrad - Catholic University. Graduate schools - private university, Catholic seminary, Catholic university.

I selected the Convert: Non-catholic grade school …

However, technically I am not a convert as I was baptised in the Chruch of Christ and was therefor a “Christian” who made a profession of faith in the Catholic Church … I believe that the polster [OP] intended that category to include catholic christians like myself [a problem with polls] If not then I should have posted under other [which was my inclinition and first choice]

I attended public elementary and hish schools. I graduated from a state college with a Bachelors of Science …

I have a Master’s in Pastoral Ministry 😃 from not one but two catholic colleges [a joint program … who says the Jesuits and the Holy Cross can’t come together at times  👍 ]

Cradle Catholic - Practicing - attended public schools & took CCD until my senior year of HS. 👍

cradle Catholic, 12 yrs parochial school, state college bor BA and MA
DH cradel Catholic, 12 yrs Catholic school, Catholic college for BS and MS

CRADLE CATH - 8 YEARS PAROCHIAL SCHOOL AT:

ST MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL
SHARONVILLE OHIO
CLASS OF 1969

I checked public school, though I went to 1/2 year Catholic kindergarden. Then public school for grade and high school, nominally protestant college and grad schools.

Cradle catholic-grade school - practicing. There was no catholic high school at the time I was going. Now we have two of them 👍

I checked other, because I’m a revert, who attended public school K-2nd, Catholic school for 3rd Grade, public school again for 4th-6th, Catholic themed home school for 7th-8th, public school for high school and now am in public community college. I like to say I have a well rounded education.😃

Cradle Catholic. I went to public school K-12, Catholic college.

Kindergarten through 8th grade-two different Catholic schools (we moved) 1987-1991 for the first school, 1991-1996 for the second school, both pretty liberal though they at least gave me a pretty good foundation in my faith, just not much more than that

Public High school-No Catholic HS at the time-CYO though that was really just social though some of the stuff I learned in Confirmation Catechism (nothing really new) was outright lies (sex was a sin no matter if in or outside marriage, women had to stay with abusive spouses because it was their fault(learned from a woman who had divorced and then remarried her abuser)) (Wonder why I’m still Catholic after that)

My first bachelors was from a university that was originally associated with the Church of Christ (now it’s just really secular)

Second bachelors-no affliation with a religion whatsoever. It’s a technical institute.

As for me, I am a cradle Catholic that went through Catholic grade school from 1st through 8th grade (Kindergarten was public-no Catholic option at the time). I attended public high school and a public college.

Cradle Catholic. I went to a Catholic grade school and a Catholic high school.
Learned the truth first from my Grandmother and parents, then at School and then on my own after High School, but that took awhile before I got really serious about learning more, still studying. A good Priest I know once said, “We are students for life.” I agree with that.
I once asked my Father, when he was 80, (he was reading the Bible), so I asked, “When do you finally learn it all”? He said, “Not in this life-time, even in Heaven you will learn more about God”. Now isn’t that awesome?

When is grade school? Primary/Elementary school? Including secondary school?
Gearoidin

I went to public elementary, junior and senior high schools.
I entered a Catholic seminary college and then studied in a Catholic graduate school of theology.
