Wish I still had some of the Pasugos/God Messages from when I was in. I tossed a lot out. Would be good to listen to more of their claims. I guess the best is to study their claims about the Church and study the truth and evangelize to INC members as well as fellow Catholics. When I visited there I should have brought some Tagalog (or English) copies of “Pillar of Fire, Pillar of Faith”. Guess I would feel weird passing em out. Sad how many of them I knew were ex-Catholics who fell for so many lies; one Pasugo article even claimed a Catholic Priest joined INC.

Yeah I joined the INC while I was in the Navy. Never really attended much church before so I was easily swayed. Not sure what to say what it is like being one. I was only INC for a year or two and was attending awhile before that. I certainly think there are plenty of good people in the INC. I did start to notice the same sermons happening a lot and many of them were attacking other churches especially the Catholic Church, but I think they may have had some good sermons on morality and such. A lot of repeating that Felix Malano was the “last messenger” as well. I am not sure how they compare to many other churches, but they do a lot of picking a few lines from here and there during sermons. I mean unlike during the Liturgy of the Word they don’t read a paragraph or scene etc. from a book of the Bible instead they take a line or two here, some lines from over here and somehow try to get them to work together.

Bro Soc Fernandez is our honorary adviser and Atty Bacalso is our legal adviser with Atty Abas as our National president from Dipolog City. I suppose you are a CFD? right?? If not, you should always remember that even though CFD is not active anymore in your parish , every one of us, CATHOLICS, have the right and responsibility by virtue of our baptism to spread and defend our Holy Faith. So be strong in your faith, study always the teachings of the Catholic Church. Have a “KATIN-AWAN sa PAGTU-O” or any APOLOGETICAL materials like in the internet, have a good Bible version. Most important learn apologetics by heart before engaging in a discussion with our separated brethren.God loves you and Mary keep you. Godspeed

if you are from iligan city, you can listen to the CFD (catholic faith defenders) radio program daily (except friday) at 7:00pm to 8:00pm over DxDD-AM and every sunday from 12:00nn to 5:00pm.

if you are interested for an apologetic seminar be conducted in your parish church, please discuss it with your parish priest. there is a good team of good catholic apologetics in cagayan de oro city and in ozamiz city.

there are also available books on apologetics at saint paul bookstore (fatima chapel, velez street, cagayan de oro city) written by ex-adventist bro. soc fernandez and conversion stories by scott hahn (rome sweet home), david currie (born fundamentalist, born again catholic), etc.

thank you. i went to bookstores of catholic parishes and the bibles they were selling are from the christian community bible.

I’ve got a copy of CCB in Cebuano (Biblia sa Cristohanong Katilingban). The Cebuano translation is awkward to read. The Maayong Balita Biblia (Cebuano version of the Good News Bible) is an excellent Cebuano translation from the original, however, it has many errors.
