Who are you addressing this to? I’m sorry if I missed one of your questions, can you repeat it? I’ve tried to answer all the ones I’ve seen, but a lots been happening lately and I might have missed one. Sorry about that.
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he will live for ever; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world
is my flesh.”
Marcos, this verse completely contradicts what you say here. You said Jesus did not say the bread from heaven is his flesh, and yet in verse 51 he says exactly that. I don’t see any way around this.
Again, if all Jesus wanted to teach was that we needed to have faith in him and nothing else, he would have stopped at verse 35. (where you stop) He had made his point. The Jews weren’t confused about that. What they didn’t like was that he said he came down from heaven, since they knew his parents. It’s only when he says the bread they must eat IS His flesh that they start objecting again. But there was no need for him to say this.
So the question is once again, what purpose did he have for saying what he does in verse 51 and following? I still haven’t seen an answer from you about that.
And by the way, sorry if we seem like piranhas here. We’re not trying to be, really.

I do appreciate that you have for the most part replied to all of us. That takes a lot of perseverance. I hope I don’t come across as harsh or mean in my replies, it’s hard over text to convey what my emotion is. I really have enjoyed our back and forth though. It’s been fun.
Yeah I made a mistake in that point , verse 51, I am humbly enough to correct it. but i will wirte more in a momet
The Jews asked for (what they thoughot was ) physical bread, demonstrating that they did not understand that Jesus was giving them an earthly metaphor for a spiritual truth. Jesus’ response was to define the metaphor, his opening remarks were:
Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. (John 6:35).
We eat Jesus’ flesh and drink his blood (Jn. 6:53) when we come to him and
believe on him.
Jesus did not pick up a piece of earthly bread and turn it into Himself. Instead, in 6:35, He said to them
I am the bread of life' [and not I will become the bread of life’]; he who comes to Me [and not `he who comes to a piece of earthly bread that I will turn into Myself] shall never be hue." There is no literal eating at all.
Jesus responds telling them that only a person who beleives that Jesus is the Son of God will be saved, and that he is indeed the “bread of life”. He reapeated several times that eternal life comes through beleiving. As someone said it “How many times does Jesus need to say it?”
With just the host it wont satisfied your physical hunger not will sustain you with physical life, even taken daily. So what it means “food indeed” if it doesnt neet the characteristics of physical food?

We eat Jesus’ flesh and drink his blood (Jn. 6:35) when we come to him and believe on him. Clearly it is NOT a reference about physical eating.
