Well, the Iraq situation would be down to the ‘just war’ doctrine, because it’s a large-scale military operation rather than a single covert assassin or anything. And sometimes it is necessary to pre-emptively attack, so you’re fine to support your Prez

And yes, this issue definitely isn’t always easy to sort out.
