You got me with this one! I don’t know the answer! I thought God gave Paul the thorn in his flesh to make him humble.

Abram became Abraham (Gen 17:5)

Sarai became Sarah (Gen 17:15)

Jacob became Israel (Gen 32:28)

Simon became Peter (Matt 16:18)

Mary became Kecharitomene (Luke 1:28)

Jesus became Emmanuel (Matt 1:23)

So the answer is NEVER because it wasn’t Peter who had the thorn in his flesh?? or am I still just close but not yet there??

I’m pretty sure it is never, as Paul was the only one I know of with a thorn in his flesh. Course, we could still both be wrong, but I think maggieodae posted a trick question. So, my answer is never.

  2. 32,000 & 300
  3. 100,000 & 100
  4. 44,000 & 44

The lips of knowledge are compared to…
  1. A jewel
  2. A mountain
  3. A king
  4. A fountain

pro 20:15There is gold, and a multitude of rubies: but the lips of knowledge [are] a precious jewel.
