How about a little mixing it up Q? 🙂

Re-order these words that follow to match a familiar portion of Scripture.
“clothed for earnestly desiring to be in this we is from heaven upon with our house groan which”

2 Corinthians 5:2
2 For in this tent we groan, longing to be further clothed with our heavenly habitation

3 or 4 depending on whether you count the people of Jerusalem (Annas, Caiaphas, Pilate, and the crowd who shouted to have Him crucified rather than set free). 😛

lol! Correct!

(John 18:19-24) The high priest then asked Jesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine. [20] Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing. [21] Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said. [22] And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so? [23] Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou me? [24] Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest.

(John 18:28) Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover.

(John 18:29) Pilate then went out unto them, and said, What accusation bring ye against this man?

(John 19:4-14) Pilate then went out again, and said to them, “Behold, I am bringing Him out to you, that you may know that I find no fault in Him.” [5] Then Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. And Pilate said to them, “Behold the Man!” [6] Therefore, when the chief priests and officers saw Him, they cried out, saying, “Crucify Him, crucify Him!” Pilate said to them, “You take Him and crucify Him, for I find no fault in Him.” [7] The Jews answered him, “We have a law, and according to our law He ought to die, because He made Himself the Son of God.” [8] Therefore, when Pilate heard that saying, he was the more afraid, [9] and went again into the Praetorium, and said to Jesus, “Where are You from?” But Jesus gave him no answer. [10] Then Pilate said to Him, “Are You not speaking to me? Do You not know that I have power to crucify You, and power to release You?” [11] Jesus answered, “You could have no power at all against Me unless it had been given you from above. Therefore the one who delivered Me to you has the greater sin.” [12] From then on Pilate sought to release Him, but the Jews cried out, saying, “If you let this Man go, you are not Caesar’s friend. Whoever makes himself a king speaks against Caesar.” [13] When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus out and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called The Pavement, but in Hebrew, Gabbatha. [14] Now it was the Preparation Day of the Passover, and about the sixth hour. And he said to the Jews, “Behold your King!”

Marie:
Psalm 22: 1-22
1 For the leader; according to “The deer of the dawn.” A psalm of David. 2 My God, my God, why have you abandoned me? Why so far from my call for help, from my cries of anguish? 3 My God, I call by day, but you do not answer; by night, but I have no relief. 4 Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One; you are the glory of Israel. 5 In you our ancestors trusted; they trusted and you rescued them. 6 To you they cried out and they escaped; in you they trusted and were not disappointed. 7 But I am a worm, hardly human, scorned by everyone, despised by the people. 8 All who see me mock me; they curl their lips and jeer; they shake their heads at me: 9 “You relied on the LORD–let him deliver you; if he loves you, let him rescue you.” 10 Yet you drew me forth from the womb, made me safe at my mother’s breast. 11 Upon you I was thrust from the womb; since birth you are my God. 12 Do not stay far from me, for trouble is near, and there is no one to help. 13 Many bulls surround me; fierce bulls of Bashan encircle me. 14 They open their mouths against me, lions that rend and roar. 15 Like water my life drains away; all my bones grow soft. My heart has become like wax, it melts away within me. 16 As dry as a potsherd is my throat; my tongue sticks to my palate; you lay me in the dust of death. 17 Many dogs surround me; a pack of evildoers closes in on me. So wasted are my hands and feet 18 that I can count all my bones. They stare at me and gloat; 19 they divide my garments among them; for my clothing they cast lots. 20 But you, LORD, do not stay far off; my strength, come quickly to help me. 21 Deliver me from the sword, my forlorn life from the teeth of the dog. 22 Save me from the lion’s mouth, my poor life from the horns of wild bulls.

When I first had my last converson experience (4+ years ago) I was led to meditate on this everyday…POWERFUL!

  1. The poor in spirit24 But woe to you who are rich, for you have received your consolation. 25 But woe to you who are filled now, for you will be hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will grieve and weep. 26 Woe to you when all speak well of you, for their ancestors treated the false prophets in this way.
