Catholic Bible Reading Plan?

Can anyone recommend and direct me to a good Roman Catholic Bible reading plan? I’m thinking of one of those “read the Bible in one year” plans, which can be adopted for reading at a more accelerated pace. I have seen a number of them for the NIV Bible, and found it helpful to read the NIV by working back and forth between the Old Testament and the New Testament. I am now reading the NAB, but can’t find a reading plan that incorporates all of the books included by the Roman Catholic Church, so I am just starting at Genesis and working my way forward. I would like, however, to have the option of jumping back and forth and keeping track of what I’ve read. So if there is anything out there that would permit me to do that, I would appreciate hearing about it. Thanks a lot.
 
I too spent a long time looking for a plan and discovered that the best plan was the one already in action by Holy Mother Church.

Why not follow the daily Mass readings? They will help you to follow the bible Old and New Testament, placing readings in their proper context within the Liturgical Year and life of the Church.

Get yourself a Missal or go online and find out the reading of the day. Use this to drive forward your Bible study / Lectio.

You can order a booklet from any online bookstore such as Amazon or Barnes and Noble by Carmen Rojas. It’s called “How to read the bible everyday, a guide for Catholics.” It has a 1, 2 and 3 year daily bible reading plan. I use the 2 year plan since it follows closely to the Church’s liturgy.

I try to read five chapters a day, that should keep you covered time wise. Usually I read a Psalm, 1 NT, 3 OT (making sure at least one of these is of the more bland type, Levitical Laws and Chronicles can sap ones enthusiasm for reading the bible very quicky at times)
