When I was a Protestant, I liked using some version of the International Inductive Study Bible, e.g. NASB or NIV, because it had wide margins, which were intended to be used for writing notes, insights, biblical principles, etc.

So far I haven’t found a Catholic Bible that has wide margins for making notes about what I’ve learned about a particular passage from homilies, spiritual reading, Catholic speakers, …

Any suggestions?

I’ve got a St. Joseph’s Edition of the New American Bible, and that has decently wide margins. It also has helpful footnotes.

You can use sticky notes too, if you need more room.
