Hi
I’ve been learning a lot about Catholicism lately and have been thinking about converting. I really want a catholic bible to help me study, but my parents are very against Catholicism and would not want me to have one. Should I go behind their back and get one, or should I bring it up? I feel like they would consider it a very big step toward converting, which it isn’t. Initially, I was learning about Catholicism just out of interest, but it turned into something bigger than that. If I were to go the route of saying I was just learning about it, they would say just to learn at home and that there was no need for books. See my predicament? I have no idea what to do. All I know is that I have to keep searching until I find the truth.
