What is a good Catholic bible to get for teens studying scripture?

The one I like is The Catholic Youth Bible. It uses the NAB translation which is not my favorite, but it has excellent notes and inserts that tie various Church teaching to their Scriptural roots.

I have to ask why they need a special Bible. Why can’t they study the same Bible adults study?

Id recommend the Little Rock Catholic Study Bible. Not a teen Bible specifically, but a very engaging presentation.

Study Bibles have more notes and often have additional articles. The teen or youth versions tend to gear their additional resources to issues that age group faces.I have to ask why they need a special Bible. Why can’t they study the same Bible adults study?
