Washington, DC – The Catholic bishops have issued a new statement responding to the so-called compromise deal on abortion funding struck by Harry Reid and Ben Nelson that still results in massive abortion funding. They join the national pro-life groups that have unanimously opposed the deal and the health care bill.

"Cardinal Daniel DiNardo of Galveston-Houston, Bishop William Murphy of Rockville Centre, New York, and Bishop John Wester of Salt Lake City issued a joint statement saying, “The Senate health reform bill should not move forward in its current form.”"But we have a pro-abortion president and a pro-abortion congress. This is the inevitable result.

More & more people are seeing through the smoke screen of a man reading off a teleprompter promising “Hope & Change”, only to discover the same old Chicago style “take no prisoners” politics of lies & deception. They are waking up & seeing through the “transparency” that is hidden behind closed doors. seeing through the bi-partisanship to discover power hungry politicians lining their pockets.
