This week will be our biggest book fair yet, I’m so filled with God’s joy. Please pray it goes well…I’ll try to post pictures too 😇

That is a great book fair for virtual book fairs or pre-paid book fairs. Christian Book Fair comes in like Scholastic and we offer everything Scholastics did but more…with Christian inspired books (upholding Catholic teachings of morals virtues sanctity of life and family) and 100% of the profit goes to the school…and we work with many different publishers.

I do screen the books also as a parent. I have read the ratings of different Catholic publishers (including Ignatius) for age ranges and from a parents persepctive I may have a different opinion. I am conservative in certain topics, a number of Catholic authors have contacted me about their books for teens that I don’t approve of the way they have 14 or 15 year old kids dating in the story. So even if a Catholic author or publisher offers me a book, it still needs to be reviewed by the Christian Book Fair before it gets included.

It is good to wear out Bibles. Of course there are some we feel are worthy of saving. I’ve worn out 4 or 5 but still have those from my father and grandmother.

Hahaha, well I’m keeping the thread open while @Spyridon doesn’t come back. And yes I really like books 🤣

I haven’t been able to wear out a bible completely, only the cover. I have however worn out Rosaries, and it does feel really good. 🙂

Yes, I admit I’m counting those in which I wore out the cover and/or tore a few pages. At least one actually fell totally apart, though. I am blessed to have easy access to Bibles. Not everyone has that opportunity.

I’m back my friend.

I’ve made a decision to lurk more than post however, learn and read more than try to speak and teach.

Especially during Great Lent.

It is good you are back. Let us make the best of this Lent. God bless.
