I am involved with music ministry in my church. We have been using the responsorial psalms in the CBW, and with the new changes apparently we aren’t allowed to use them and we have to use the ones that someone emails to us and they aren’t good in my opinion. Why can’t we use them? Did the lectionary change too, because I know that it didn’t?🤷

I don’t know. Maybe someone is using it as an excuse to use those terrible lame OCP psalms.🤷

Ask your pastor. I’m pretty sure the Lectionary did not change. But…even if it did, it seems there have always been two allowable translations; the CBW, and the one actually in the lectionary.
