I found a really nice Catholic book store in Greer, South Carolina…St. Benedict’s. It has free wi fi and you can sit and read. Any good Catholic book stores in your area?

None at all. This is a very Baptist area. We have two large Christian bookstores here. They won’t sell anything Catholic unless it’s anti-Catholic.

In Fargo we have two Catholic bookstores that are both amazing, but that is about 2 and a hours away. Here in Bismarck all we have is a small Parable books. It has a couple of crucifixes you can buy, a small shelf in the back with some Rosaries, and one shelf of Catholic books, but that is it. Since moving here, I’ve had to primarily buy all my Catholic stuff online 😦

We have a small one where I live. My brother and I often go in and have long conversations with the lady who owns and runs it. One time, we had conversation past closing.

If they don’t have something, they’ll order it for you. Local is always the best. 👍

We have a couple of Catholic book/goods stores here in Denver. However, theybdon’t provide cozy seating areas like you describe. That would be a really nice touch!🙂

After 18 years my church (St. Joachim) has decided to build a book store (last year). It’s very nice, but does not have sitting areas like yours does.

Yes, we have at least 1 that I know of. I’ve never been there, but hope to go soon! 🙂

Here in small town Iowa we have The Mustard Seed. I agree local is best, Inga the owner meets you once and if you talk to her five minutes remembers your name forever.
It’s awesome; personal great service and she is a convert and so Zealous for the Faith Catholic. She also hosts book discussions in her upper “attic like area” for those interested etc.
Mary.

I am looking for some Catholic bookstores or at least Used books stores that have Catholic books.

I live in Orange County, California

I have seen a Catholic book store in Anaheim but its kind of pricy.

Sadly, my MIL’s Catholic store in Ruidoso, NM might have to close… not enough business. The shop next door that sells dog clothes, however, is going strong…😦

Unfortunately, no…my town is far too rural. However, I do occasionally go to a nice Christian store about an hour away. They have a lot of lovely things, and a small Catholic section as well (with rosaries, saint medals, etc., but no books, sadly).

There is a great Catholic store in Omaha, I hear, but that’s 3 hours away from where I am. 😦
