By the way, I think it was Fr. Mitch (on EWTN) who said that it is all Catholic adults responsibility to read the Pope’s encyclicals. I think he may have been referring to the present Pope, but previous Pope’s maybe our responsibility also. (I haven’t read but a few of JPII’s encyclicals and our present Pope’s writings usually intimidate me, except Spirit of the Liturgy)😊 .

read with someone with a theology degree. a priest friend and i are working our way through his encyclicals. it’s so much easier when you read through with a friend.
