Character assassination against whom? The Church? The charismatics? Nevertheless, in case you were referring to me, TOP, it is an act of mercy to admonish people, as today’s gospel taught. I remind you that Rosalie did not ask for an opinion … she GAVE it via the link, coupled with her dissenting statement: "So I no longer think along the lines of, “whatever floats your boat”.
I respect and accept her apology that she did not review the article before linking to it. We had nothing but her black and white print to go on, which was ambiguous at best, prior to receiving her apology.
FYI, in matters of journalism, whether or not one is a professional, it is expected by the reader that the homework was done. I would ask that you read the documents of V-II on social communications and the media, and the requirements of charity in regard to what one commits publicly to writing. Neither the intent of that document nor the Catechism is restricted solely to journalists.
I trust you will let this drop as no further good can be done by your tossing a few more stones.
