Catholic Church; Little to no focus on the Holy Spirit?

Benedict XVI wrote something ineffably beautiful about the Holy Spirit while he was the Holy Father. It was not a long piece as I recall, but it was almost poetic. I have tried to google it, but to no avail, and can’t get my hands on it. Does anyone here know what I am talking about.

Sounds good! Thanks!

We can think whatever we like. But I have learned–or maybe I should be truthful and say that I am still TRYING to learn–that often it’s best to keep our thoughts to ourselves. I’ll admit with shame that I often open my mouth before thinking, and hurt people or hurt my own testimony.

Right now, a certain leader of a certain country is facing constant criticism because he says what he thinks. 🤨

Although I cannot speak to your specific confession, being involved in the Catholic charistmatic movement is generally not sinful. The movement is endorsed by the Vatican as well as the specific dioceses in which it operates. It only becomes sinful if you break away from the church to pursue it, or otherwise disobey some order of the pastor or other authority in the diocese where you are.

I have a Protestant friend who accused the Catholic Church of this. I’ve never heard that complaint from Protestants before, and I was baffled on how to refute this accusation. Any thoughts?
It is NOT up to Catholics to refute baseless accusations. Tell your friend to provide evidence to support his assertion then come back and we can discuss his “evidence”.
