St. Michael’s College in Vermont is getting kudos from a Catholic group that monitors colleges and universities for occasions on which they promote abortion. In this case, the school would not give credit for a student’s Planned Parenthood internship.
Today on its blog, the Cardinal Newsman Society highlighted how The Defender newspaper indicates the college denied a student credit for interning with Planned Parenthood, as internship director, Joanne LaBrake Muehlberger, told the student the internship department was obligated to deny academic credit for the internship “because of the school’s religious affiliation.”
