I am planning on moving back to my hometown to go to UGA to take business. But I just found out that theres a small (300 student) Catholic college a hour and a half away from there. Would it be wrong for me to go ahead and go to UGA like I have planned on (and wanted to for most of my life) and not the Catholic college?

I don’t think it would be wrong. You have to go where you can get the degree you want. But, if all things are equal (you like both schools, financial aid is good for both, degree programs are equally challenging, etc.) then you might want to consider the Catholic college. Though I went to a Catholic college and while much of it was wonderful, even Catholic colleges are being infiltrated with politically-correct garbage – but that’s another thread. :o

Offering a prayer that you can discern God’s path for your life. God bless! 🙂

First, would you be staying in a dorm or commuting from home to school every day?

Second, does UGA have a Newman Center? I went to UIC, and spent most of my non-class hours there.

I will be staying off campus. Iam not sure if UGA has a newman center I will have to check. But in town there is a good Catholic church there that looks like it has lots of ways to be involved.
