Catholic Comic Books?

Is there a website that scans and collects the comics books produced in the 40’s and 50’s by the Catechetical Guild Educational Society? I found that Angelus Press publishes reprints of a few of these comics, but I was wondering if there was a place where many of the others might be viewed/read.

Catechism in Pictures 1958
Christmas Story 1955
The Commandments of God (either edition 1954 or 1958)
The Great Sacrament 1953
If the Devil Would Talk (either edition 1950 or 1958)
The Passion 1955
The Truth Behind the Trial of Cardinal Mindszenty 1949

And others.

Also, what other Catholic comics include Jesus Christ within their stories?

Any help/direction would be appreciated.
 
Unfortunately, I don’t know anything about 40s and 50s Catholic comics.

I found the Judith one a bit difficult to follow, to be honest, though I did appreciate the manga style. 🙂

Back in 1982, Marvel produced a comic book about Blessed John Paul II:

Earlier, they did “Francis, Brother of the Universe”:

I want to say there were one or two other Marvel Catholic books as well, but I don’t remember.

These days, my favorite comic books by a Catholic are Gene Luen Yang’s American Born Chinese (not an overtly Catholic story, but a coming-of-age story that partially reinterprets the mythology of the Monkey King through a Catholic lens) and The Rosary Comic Book (best for young audiences, e.g. new readers). I’m also looking forward to the September release of his two-volume Boxers & Saints, which will tell the story of the Boxer Rebellion through the eyes of both Christians and non-Christians.

I’ve found some other comics through Pauline Books & Media, but the quality wasn’t quite as good, imo.
 
You could find a classic comic store and buy “Evangeline–the Nun with a Gun.”

These came out in the late 1980s, and had some fairly good plots. Very very violent.
