Also, there are Catholic Mangas out, too, from a company called Manga Hero. A couple of their mangas our on Pope Francis and Habemus Papam! (Pope Benedict XVI).

I had no idea things like this existed. Maybe the language and style (it's a tad patronising I think for modern children!) is of its time but they are *absolutely wonderful* and I'm going to treasure that link. Thank you :thumbsup:

Brother Juniper was AFAIK the only religious themed internationally syndicated comic to date.

Ah, thx for this! I just checked them out and I like what I’ve seen from them so far! Especially this one (this is St. Teresa of Avila praying while sitting on the… er, can, and the devil harassing her about it):
