I have not seen any posts on the “Catholic Commentary on Sacred Scripture” series. I just finished reading St Matthew’s commentary and is pretty good. Any comments on this series? catholiccommentaryonsacredscripture.com

I have the commentary on St. Matthew also. It was all right, but I was a bit disappointed that it wasn’t more scholarly. I had expected commentary from the Church Fathers, and the great scholar saints which I have found in the Ignatius Study Bible and in the Navarre. This must have been written for a different audience. The material in it is good so I am going to give my copy away to a high school student.
