Sometimes these moms might feel a relationship with a certain artist or creator of these products, too. The first headcovering I bought was made by a mommy blogger I read. I have a friend who designs mugs and T-shirts with Scripture verses or quotes by the saints.
If they have the budget for it, that’s their business. I have Catholic mom friends in real life from all kinds of backgrounds. Not all of us do the same things. I buy the occasional product like that, but I also do most of my regular shopping at Aldi and thrift stores. And don’t underestimate major sales, even on niche products like day planners.
