You know – one things is recurrent through this thread – others we are related to, friends with, work with, love, disagree with (sometimes) are being invited to a lot of services during Easter Week.

We should do a Prayer Bombardment (as Puzzleannie says) about these people. The first time I was at a Mass it was like being struck down and seeing a blinding light on the Damascus Road. I KNEW instantly that all of the questions I had since I was a little girl were answered. I knew this was Christ’s Church.

Prayer will change their hearts! Here is the opportunity for God to move their spirits. Let’s pray pray pray their being at services this next week will touch their hearts.

Let’s pray pray pray pray. (Puzzleannie – what do ya think?)

Count me in! Maybe we can offer up the last week of our Lenten sacrifices for them.

This is a wonderful idea. I told my family about my intentions to enter the Church last May. Since then, they haven’t said much, except an occasional question or jab. However, last week when I reminded them about the Easter vigil and that they were welcome to come, I think it really hit home for them. Since then, I have met a lot of resistance in discussions (that have taken on the tone of “interventions”) and I have been given many tracks and articles about what the Catholic Church is “wrong.” The division is hard, but I know I am being faithful in moving forward. My hope and prayer is that someday my family and loved ones may see and experience the tremendous grace that comes from knowing the truth and the freedom that comes from entering into and being a part of the Church established by Christ, with all the sacraments.

Count me in! Offering up the sacrifices and graces of Holy Week for each other and our family and friends is a great idea.
