First I was raised Southern Baptist and converted at age 70.
*I have gone from total confusion to total clarity of Scripture

*I now see all Catholic doctrines in the Bible. I can cite the verses.
*Early Church fathers have clarified the Bible for me.
*I now know Jesus left us His Church and not the Bible.
*I know the Church, not the Bible, is the pillar & foundation of truth.
*I learned Christians lived almost 400 years w/o the Bible canon.
*I now know the Bible came from Tradition.
*I now know Communion is real, not symbolic and it feeds me.
*I now know Baptism is the beginning of salvation.
*I now know ‘born again’ means Baptism.
*The Church has taught me how to deal with my sins.
*I now know the saints in heaven are praying for me.
*I now know Mary is my spiritual mother. See Revelation 12.
*I now understand those ‘for Catholics only’ verses

*I now have a hunger for Scripture, Tradition and history.
*I finally understand my own Protestant history.
*I now know there are some 33,000 Protestant denominations

*I now strive to make Jesus the center of my life everyday.
*My prayer life and Scripture reading has exploded.
*I have learned the secret of how to love my enemies

*I now pray for the salvation of all souls daily.
*I now pray for unity of all Christians.
*The Church has taught me there are holy, saved non-Catholics.
*I now know the Church has the ‘fullness’ of faith.
*I now know I cannot do this w/o God’s grace.
*I now know that I have to actually stop sinning. Go figure.
*I now know I cannot live by the flesh and remained saved.
*I know I have been saved, am being saved and hope to be saved.
*I now know the Bible is not clear on a number of topics.
*I now know Sacred Tradition clarifies Sacred Scripture.
*I now know the Catholic Church was the only one til 1054 AD

*I know the first Passover is a picture of the journey of salvation.
*I now know Baptism is necessary for salvation with exceptions.
*I now know the first Christians baptized infants.
*I know the first Christians ate Jesus’ flesh & drank His blood.
*I now know they were accused of cannibalism.
*I now know Mary is in heaven wearing a crown. See Rev. 12.
*I now know the first Christians had bishops, deacons & priest.
*I know the early fathers wrote of teachings not clear in the Bible.
I now know all 7 Catholic Sacraments are in the Bible.
*I now know most Protestant beliefs are less than 200 years old.
*I now know the Rapture doctrine was created in 1830 by Darby.
*I now know the ‘born again’ mantra was created in the late 1960s.
*I now know the 'sinner’s prayer evolved from the 'Great Awakening.
*I now know that prayer is rejected by current Protestant scholars.
*I now know that prayer is dangerous because it allows sinning.
*I’ve learned most Protestants don’t know how we got the Bible.
*I’ve learned the best witness is a holy life lived for God.
*I’ve learned all witnessing must be done in love, not arguing.
*I’ve learned I could never leave the One Church Jesus built.
