A Catholic friend of mine subscribes to Rick Warren’s Daily Hope newsletter and he sometimes forwards the ones he finds inspirational to me. One recently had strong anti-Catholic undertones which I tried to point out to him. He thinks I “read to much into it” and should just appreciate it for the spiritual principles it speaks to.

Do any of you subscribe to a similar Catholic newsletter which I could encourage him to subscribe to?

I’m a bit surprised - Rick Warren seems to usually be very “Catholic-friendly”. In fact, there are many stories circulating online about his slow trek toward Catholicism (he prays the Divine Mercy chaplet, etc.)

I like Bishop Robert Barron’s daily emails; short and easy to read, but thought-provoking.
