I’d say those who receive comments even negatives ones on dating sites should consider it a blessing. Some people do noy or rarely receive any messages or replies at all, even if they are trying. I try to give this response when i see complaints from people in the singles group I belong to.

Simply not contacting men or women you have an issue with is a bit easier anyway.

Before I met my wife on Catholicmatch, I simply avoided the folks who didn’t fit what I was looking for, be it, shared values, adherence to Church teachings, looks, whatever. There is no need to reach out to the folks who are incompatible and tell them what you see their issues to be. That just makes you an oaf.

Yeah, as a dating site veteran (met my wife on Catholic match) I have seen at least one guy post in the forum asking all women on the site to please dress modestly for their pictures (I had probably only saw one or two immodestly dressed women in the hundreds of profiles I saw. He said this as if his plea might actually change anything.

Then I have also seen a woman pretty much blame all society’s problems solely on men. Even abortion is mostly men’s fault because men force women to have sex first then force them to get abortions. She was so anti men that I don’t see why she would even be on a dating site.

Basically, there are a lot of real Characters on dating sites. Advice won’t even help most of them because they think everyone else is the problem, not them.

It could very well be a spiteful reaction to someone coaxing them to join the site.
You made me join, so I’m going to prove that it’s a waste of my time.
