Catholic Day of Action

Unfortunately, the term “Catholic Action” in US these days refers to a very leftist group that pushes for women priests and other radical changes. “Catholic Day of Action” sounds a bit too much like that for me to want to know more without a ringing endorsement from pastors I trust.

I note that there are parish groups doing social justice projects year-round. They make meals for shut-ins, volunteer at homeless shelters, do Habitat for Humanity type building projects in Appalachia, and all kinds of other stuff. I don’t know why we would need a specific day for helping others.

yeap, the stand outside protesting during the entire Chrism Mass each year. So sad

Easter Vigil as well. Pathetic when they should be in the Cathedral praying.
