Hi everyone. All for the Sacred and Eucaristic Heart of Jesus, all through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Jesus, all in union with Saint Joseph. This is the motto of the Apostolate for Family Consecration. They are a family apostolate in Bloomingdale, Ohio.

Jerry and Gwen Conniker started this apostolate to help to consecrate families in the Truth and to build God centered communities. It was around the mid 1970s that it was created, if I remember correctly. Since that time all 12 of their living children (the 13th one is in heaven) are in the Catholic faith still. I know that most, if not all, but I do think all of them help this Apostolate.

There are 950 acres of land up there that is for the families to enjoy when they come to visit and for the many events. Gwen Conniker was buried there and you could visit her coffin. They received permission to bury her there in the little room in the chapel. They also received permission to pray to her and to ask people to pray to her to get her to be beatified and then cannonized.

You need to come to understand who they are. All their tapes and videos, network, and programs are to be used to help bring about the world peace promised at Fatima. The time is late, is what Mr. Conniker said and we need to use these programs now to evangelize other families. He said home school is not enough, we must evangelize other families so that our kids will grow up in a world of peace. Our kids can be the great evangelists of this time or if we let it happen, the great martyrs; Mr. Conniker said. He tells how to evangelize so that we as layman will know how.

In Fatima, Our Lady said that their would be an annihilation of nations if we don’t straighten up. Yes there will be the greatest dark age we will ever see if we don’t do what we can now while we still have the freedom to now, Mr. Conniker said.

This annihilation does not have to happen. It is conditional. If their are enough families doing what our Lady wants then this will bring about the peace promised to the world, which has never happened before.

The Holy Father, John Paul II, approves of this apostolate and their work. Mother Teresa and Cardinal Arinze approve of it. Alot of their members are the best teachers in Rome. All of their programs are Vatican approved and their catechism is too. Their childrens cathechisms from 1rst to 12th grade is Vatican approved. Just see, if you don’t believe me at www.familyland.org

They need your money to succeed in this work that is God’s work. They need you to come to one of there Totus Tuus conferences for the weekend and to see what they are about. You will be given an abundance of graces, and your families too. Come to a fest or marriage weekend too. They need you to continue this vital work.

I want to tell you that they have 5 missions: here in the USA, in Africa, in the Phillippines, in Europe, and in Mexico. They are a member of the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Immaculate Conception in Mexico.

They were invited to the Phillippines to help evangelize the people by the Archbishop in Manila. He could have asked for food from the Apostolate, but he ask for spiritual food instead.

You are needed. The Apostolate is in debt. They are trying to keep up their network on sky angel and get on cable. They are already on cable in some areas.

I have been there on a family fest. That is how I know they need you and they are a spiritual goldmine. They helped my husband to love the Blessed Mother more and grow in love with Christ in a way that is very noticable to me. He is different. Before the fest, he had a bad attitude about praying the rosary each day as a family and a bad attitude about praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy daily. He wants to now and he aks me to pray with him now. He loves me more now and is more respectful towards me. He used to have a hot temper, and now he is more in control. It is making me happy and greatful. The Apostolate also helped our nephew to like to say the rosary. We took him up there with us and on the way back he asked to say an extra rosary with us on the same day. He would not pray the rosary, but a few times before. That was only if we made him pray it before. It is amazing. Please help support the Apostolate. I am begging you to call them or write to them. Just check out there website. Please help in any way you can and please pray for them.

Continued the final time…There is so much more I want to tell you about them, but I will let you go. I have spoken so much already. Thank you for your time and help. But before I go,I want to say that there is room for you to go on the last family fest and there is room for you still to go on the Totus Tuus weekend. Dr. Scott Hahn and his wife will be at the Totus Tuus weekend and so will, I think her name is Donna Cori Gibson to sing. Cardinal Arinze goes to the fests to speak, as far as I know, amost every year if not every year. He will come to one of their fests this year and that fest is already sold out unfortunately. He loves the Apostolate. His homeland I think in Nigeria is a part of where the Apostolate’s missions are. He even wrote a letter to Mr. Conniker saying how he wanted to be there for Gwen’s funeral but couldn’t. Later on he came though. Gwen got a private audience with the pope John Paul II for 10 minutes and that is rare, but the pope saw something beautiful in her. Mother Teresa held her face in a picture with her. It is awesome. You can see it at Catholic familyland.

Cardinal Arinze will be there for a banquet dinner. He will be with each family privately for 10 minutes. I think there are still openings for that event this month so just call the apostolate at 1800FORMARY or go to the website for more information.

If you would like to talk to me about the apostolate, please let me know or if you would like just go to their website or give them a call for all the information you will want to know. You won’t regret it. God bless you.

Sorry about this, but I wanted to let you know that they also have a picture of the Holy Family blessing us to help promote the Holy Family apparition in Fatima that you can use to do the Sacred Heart Consecration. It has been approved. The Holy Family did appear in Fatima. They are the only Apostolate who does promote this, as far as I know. They are the only Apostolate with the Roman curia the direct staff of Rome backing them up, I think.

They were given a half hour audience with the reall Sister Lucia. I think they got permission with Cardinal Ratzinger and anyhow they showed her the picture of the Holy Family to ask her what she thought of it since she seen the real apparition of course. She said that it was the best a human can do. They also have film that you can purchase on the interview, I think. The Apostolate has an original statue of this picture and it was made in the Phillippines. Soon little statues will be available for consecrating families to the Sacred Heart.

Fr. Bernard Geiger over at Family land gave me some help in my own prayer life. He had a prayer card he made himself and it was an act of Faith of God’s love. It has made me accept God’s love more and believe in His love more, which he said we need to make acts of faith to do if I understand correctly. Not many are taught to make act of faith like this he said.

Some people are coming but not enough to keep up on all the debt they are in. More families are needed or else they will have to slow down, which will not be good. They would like 10,000 families to come and see what is going on here.

They have interviews with the best teachers in the world to teach the faith. They have interviews and programs of the Pope’s direct staff. They also have interviews with Mother Teresa and other great teachers. See in order to really know who they are, you must go there. I can explain this to you until I am blue in the face, but I will not be able to give you my experience. That is why I am pleaing with you to just check out the website and call and get some free information. It is completely Catholic. They are a very respectable Apostolate and they are helping a lot of families already, but because of all their endevours and missions and just everything that they do minus the manpower that they really do need; they do need the help of many to keep up this vital spiritual work.

When my family went on the 26th of June of this year for a week I had been there before so this place was in my heart already. My husband and nephew were basically just doing this to please me and to have some fun, because there are horse rides, swimming, watersliding and so much more for the ones who don’t at first care about the spiritual part of the week.

Sister Lucia, like I said before, loved the picture of the Holy Family and wanted one for herself. They gave her one. These pictures were also given to the main people who promote Fatima, but I forget who they were. Believe me though all you have to do is ask the Apostolate for more information and they will be happy to give you whatever information you would like. This way you won’t have to just get second hand information from me, because I am merely just poorly passing along what I have experienced and learned there. There are so many others, believe me, that could do better.

About the families there though; there were alot of big families there. We were the minority with one child. The families were very friendly and I met some who had been coming for 5 to 11 years. They were very happy to see new faces. I met a lot of new families, one said that she had been asked for years by friends before she came. She thought she would have to wait for her child to get older. There was an 8 week old baby there and many pregnant women there, so when she saw that she thought she should have come sooner.

Everyone had smiling faces that I ran into so every family that I ran into really enjoyed it. The Catholic Corps really helped in making people feel at home. Even I slipped a few times and called our cabin there home. One woman was crying when we had to say goodbye to everyone after the week was up and there were a lot of hugs and kisses and phone numbers exchanged before the end.

Continued answer…The Catholic Corps are men and women who like a movement well known in the church, which I forget what it is called (Opus Dei?), are single consecrated men and women who help out with the behind the scenes work and help out also with the families who come there. They do mostly all of the taping of the shows, the running of the network, the taking care of the horses, the building of the cabins, alot of the praying and sacraficing for the Apostolate. They each have a separate house and they make private vows of chastity, obedience and poverty. They give up their right to have families to serve families. It is really quite beautiful, when you get to learn more about them. They are alot of the manpower for the missions. They need more vocations. They try to get young people to come and see with visits and retreats. It really is an awesome vocation and there are many blessings for themselves and their families and for the families they serve because of their hard life.

I hope I answered your question somewhat, but please forgive me if you did not get what you wanted out of what I shared. God bless you.

One more thing, I am so sorry but I spelled Coniker, Conniker and that was incorrect. It is spelled Coniker.

When EWTN was promoting the Coniker’s apostolate, Catholic Familyland seemed to of been going great guns. But since I haven’t heard anything from EWTN in the past few years about them, I can understand why there hasn’t been as much interest. Though I wish there were though.

They were on EWTN before they had their own network. When they got their own network they had to put their shows only on their network to keep it up. They are not in competition with Mother Angelica, but they compliment her. She even spoke at one of their events of course when she was able. If she didn’t like them, she wouldn’t have been there. Father Benedict Groeschel, Fr. Pablo Strauss, Jason Evert, Johnnette Benkovic, Dr. Alice Von Hildebrand, Dr. Scott Hahn, Kimberly Hahn, Jeff Cavins, Fr. Michael Scanlan, and so many others have have been speakers up there at familyland. A lot of these individuals have tried to raise money for them by doing a small commercial for the network. Pope John Paul II, Alfonso Cardinal Lopez Trujillo, Edouard Cardinal Gagnon, the Vatican Secretary of State’s office, the Pontifical Council for the Family, Francis Cardinal Arinze, Jaime Cardinal Sin, Mario Luigi Cardinal Ciappi, Bishop John Magee, and Mother Teresa endorse and/or approve of the Apostolate.

The Apostolate for Family Consecration has a web site at www.familyland.org, where many of their materials are available via purchase or free download. They also produce three podcasts available via iTunes, including interviews with Francis Cardinal Arinze.

I know several families who go to family fest and Totally tuus, and they love it. They give it a big recommendation!!!

What I’ve noticed most in these families that go is that in the time following their retreat, the dads seem to take a much greater role as spiritual leaders. Very impressive. I wonder why it has that effect?

I’d like to go, but it’s a little too much Catholicity for my nonCatholic hubby. 😦

Where is it at? I’ve never heard of it before. Are those big names who liked it petitioning for money for the place as well? I would think EWTN would hear of this and play another special about it several times or so.
I would guess people dress modestly in the water fun area. Do they make appropriate swimming pool/water park clothes for women anymore? Guys could just wear t-shirts, probably, as society has gotten in modern times, where women are looking at guys in the same way as men might be looking at them.
