I am a Catholic and I love folk metal. The problem is that most folk metal bands have heathen themes, while other bands do songs about ancient history. There are hardly any Christian folk metal bands out there, let alone Catholic bands. There is Holy Blood, but they do songs about Ukrainian Orthodox Christianity. I think of only one band that even comes close to being Catholic folk metal, and that is a Polish band called Illuminandi.

So, are there any Catholic folk metal bands out there?
