Ohhhhhhhhhhh I am so happy for you. The exact same thing happened to us. I will keep you close in prayers. We are 12 weeks along now, but we found out at almost 8 weeks. We were just beginning to pursue adoption and had almost agreed to adopt twins, when…suddenly, I was pregnant too!

I realize that this is a very old thread but if anyone does a search on the word “adoption” they will peruse this thread and I found a good Catholic adoption agency for anyone to check out:

My daughter is 20 yo and in college and pregnant. Yes, she knows she made a mistake and can not raise a child but wants a faithful Catholic family to raise her daughter. There are many degrees of Catholic individuals. She wants a couple who will teach the faith to her daughter from day one.
She wants a Catholic couple who are in the world, not of the world.

This is the same agency we used to adopt our daughter! In fact, Sister Dolora, the nun in charge of the agency, is my DH’s great-aunt! I think she made an excellent choice if she goes through them to place her baby.

My husband and I are just beginning our adoption journey. Bethany adoption is a first page link in many online searches, but I became concerned when we received an information packet. I’m so happy to have found this forum by doing a search regarding Bethany’s statement of faith and Catholics.

Just last week my mom suggested we ask St Joseph to guide and protect our journey, so thank you for posting this link… and on such an old thread! We were not aware of this agency and will most definitely research.
