as a convert from the episcopal church, it didn’t seem right to me to have women priests and was one of many reasons why i joined the Catholic church.
the ordination of women priests and other issues caused a great division within the episcopal church and i know the idea appeals to many progressive Catholics.
don’t the bishops who ordain these women also get excommunicated?
i hope that Bishop Clark in new york will give his resignation. i hope there aren’t many more bishops out there like him.
