I want to join like a Knights of Columbus for women. Does anyone know anything about groups like Columbiettes, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, or Daughters of Isabella and what the differences are exactly between them? Or am I better off just trying to find a local independent women’s group in my diocese? Also, are there really any cons to joining a group like this?

Thanks, in advance.

Joining the conversation in hopes of an answer. The Lutherans have the LWML-Lutheran Women’s Mission League that is worldwide and extremely well-organized with conventions regionally and nationally. When I joined my parish I heard crickets. Not even a parish-wide group of like-minded women. Sadly I looked towards joining apostolates outside the parish and diocese. My husband and I are part of multinational ones. There are tons.
