Hello, I am in RCIA right now. They said at the noon mass today that in the morning they are having a healing mass, and that you can come as a “proxy” for somebody else. My question is can I go for my mother who is a Baptist even though I am not yet a Catholic?

As long as you aren’t receiving the Eucharist, then you are completely fine. In fact, I encourage you to go. In addition, I encourage you to go to adoration frequently on behalf of your mother! Spend time with Jesus and get to know him better.

Thank you for your answer. I do in fact go to adoration as much as I can, not so much for my mother as because I just feel something there. ❤️
