Question. What type of cooperation would this be? A Catholic health care organization states that its future well-being would be seriously threatened if it did not allow their employed physicians to prescribe contraception. So they set up a system in that the physician must act in a “limited private practice” capacity when writing prescriptions for contraception and must pay the portion of malpractice insurance to cover that. They must also inform the patient that they are writing it not as an employed physician of the Catholic Health Care System but out of their “private practice”.
