Hello,

My name is John Pierce, I write under the pen name Christopher Sly. Last year I made a video about called New Atlantis in which I model the problem of man’s inhumanity to man, and propose an implementable solution I call a Hero Engine. A Hero Engine is based on the hero educational philosophy of teaching the people’s children how to work together solving the people’s problems, and the belief that if the children try to lift the people’s weight, they will gain the hero’s strength. In my video, I recommend that the graduate students of the University of California create and direct a Hero Engine, where the “playwrights”, the senior students, direct the “players”, the junior students, in a team problem solving game to write the most desperate among us out of their tragic circumstances. This game could be the greatest show on earth, self financing, and an extraordinarily powerful portal for social investment, as the people contribute to the Hero Engine and watch their children use these resources to rescue the desperate. A Hero Engine produces both heroes, and heroic solution.

I once looked up the vast scope of the Catholic educational network. It occurs to me that the church could implement a Catholic Hero Engine, and that doing so would greatly benefit the students, the church, and the world. And since I once attended the University of Notre Dame, I would love to see them take the lead in the design and implementation of a Catholic Hero Engine.

Does this sound like a project worth pursuing?
