Look at how screwed up your mind is in this quote from post #878

Realcatholic: You are an example of a really strange, confused, perhaps even mentally disturbed person. And please believe me when I say that is said with love for you.

**Hi ron, 👋 **
You like me! You really like me! 😃 That is one of the nicest christlike things a Protestant has ever said to me!

Let me put it another way.

The Catholic faith is the original true Church. It is the only way to salvation. Jesus founded His church 2,000 years ago it is still here! To follow any other leader/group/sect/cult/denomination/religion is not to follow Jesus, nor His real teachings! PERIOD!

Many Protestants are really good people. God fearing, full of grace and love that doen’t make their religious beliefs valid or true! Only Jesus through the Eucharist can fill their desire to be closer to Him. And not being catholic they can’t obtain that!

Protestant denominations, all 61,000 are cointerfeit, imitation, and faulty. Their Bibles all 100 distorted and corrupt versions are not the real teachings of Jesus. The leaders of Protestant denom inations have no authority to teach the Faith of christians given by apolostic succession to the Catholic church alone.

Ron77nyc: You also are an example of a really strange, confused, perhaps even mentally disturbed person. There is medication that can be taken. And please believe me when I say that is said with love for you. Shhh, the guards are coming I have to go now!

God Bless

D’Oh!

I knew I shouldn’t have hit that “View Post” link (directly above the “Remove user from ignore list” link)!

Silly me… 🙂

ron,

I have to admit that I haven’t read all of Realcatholicgk’s posts – in fact I’ve only read a very small number of them – so I don’t know what he said that led to this response.

But having made that admission, let me add that “stay off the computer when your parents leave the house” etc., strikes me as a bit juvenile. If someone is bugging you (and again, I readily admit that I don’t know what Realcatholicgk said) perhaps it’s best to just ignore him or her – and focus your attention on the truly awesome, God-like posters such as myself. 😃 (Insert emoticon of me slapping my own wrist.)

**Hi elts,👋 **
**Yea, Learn about religion, that sure will save your soul! Catholics don’t have toi search for the truth, we have it! 👍 **
I would like to see Catholics going to Mass more often, and praying the rosary to “deepen” their faith. They should use the sacraments and follow what the church teaches. That is all that any christian needs to be saved. Jesus will feed our souls. Protestants by being protestants are starving their souls because they can not nurish their soulds with the real body and blood of Christ. Catholics can but refyse to nurish their souls. Maybe they think they will gain too much grace?

So you don’t think reading the encyclicals of the Popes, books by authors such as Scott Hahn, Pope Benedict XVI, Pope John Paul II, the writings of the mystics, the Bible, the Catechism and many other sources of knowledge, would in any way help you to understand the mysteries of the Church which are sometimes hard to understand?

First you believe.

Then you learn to understand what you believe.

What’s so hard about that?

The order is important. No one, NO ONE, who doesn’t first believe (at least enough to “bootstrap” having a need to learn) is convinced to believe by becoming educated.

That’s why they call belief a “grace from God”.

I can say Aye to that.

A few weeks ago I found out that the Catholic Church does believe in Predestination. My heart sank as if someone had died. I thought how can she?

I was faced with a dilemma. Submit myself to this belief or go against the Church because this is a de fide dogma (the highest level of binding dogma theological certainty).

Then I remembered Christ’s promise that He will send the Holy Spirit to guide her into all truth. So without really comprehensing it all I said yes, it must be true even if I don’t kow why it is true and even if it seems to go against eveythng I know about God who is love.

And you know what? A few hours later, still reading St Thomas and Molina the lightbulb went on and it made full sense to me. This really difficult topic finally settled comfortably in my mind and my soul.

But even had that lightbulb moment not come. I would have accepted it in obedience and humility, trusting in the promise of Christ.

I agree with you here as well.

I have learned so much more from reading the above. I treasure Scott Hahn. My sister calls him the 21st century Paul:) .

There are things however that no amount of reading would seem to budge and then one day ding! you know.

It’s like the gospels. Yes you comprehend it as you read, but then there is that one time when you seem to see it in a different light. A new aspect is brought to the fore. I think this is a direct infusion of knowledge by the Holy Spirit.

I think all of us have had a moment like that.

Hi Ben.👋

How is the foot?

"Seek not to understand that you may believe, but believe that you may understand. " - Saint Augustine

I tell this to the Protestants all the time. To be with God all you need is FAITH ~ and of course ~ THE CATHOLIC CHURCH! 😃

Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe. - Saint Augustine

God Bless**

The foot is actually worse I think. I had to miss the Christmas party at my Church group. Thanks for asking. Please include that in your prayer. I just hope to be able to at least get to Mass tomorrow.

I love this quote from St Augustine. I have just thought a way to cut that short: In submission is illumination.

Hi elts, 👋

Well of course they would. I have read most of them and many more books. I am not as smart as all you other guys , but I find nothing hard to understand. Why? Because I have no questions that I need answered.
Exactly how can you understand a mystery? :hmmm: If you could would it still be a mystery? If it concerns God how could we ever expect to understand His nature? He made us, we didn’t invent Him.

I trust the church to teach the truth and for 2,000 years it hasn’t done a bad job! 👍 So what good is knowledge? Don’t you realize the devil uses the Bible every day to capture souls?Look at the 61,000 denominations, with 1,375 doctrines and beliefs that they “developed” over just the last 500 years by using sola scriptura and the other four solas “pillars” of the Protestant damnation. This is through knowledge of what God wants by reading the bible!
Many Catholics can’t read but they still have a deeper appreciation, love and understanding of the Catholic religion by attending mass, consuming their Lord and savior in communion and through His graces, living a good christian life. That is Faith! It has often been said that whatever the question FAITH is the answer. I find that to be true in myown life. I trust my Lord and Savior. I have faith in Him. I worship Him. I know that He made one church 2,000 years ago. I am blessed to be a Catholic. God is good! 👍

If Protestants had real faith in what Jesus commanded of them, rather than knowledge about him that they obtain from reading one of their 100 corrupted, twisted, distorted and altered vesions of the Bible, and just obeyedthe teachings of his real church just as he commanded 1500 years before their cults and groups were even formed. There would be one holy, catholic and apologetic church rather then this terrible mess made through false knowledge and interpretation of Gods words eliminating informed Faith. It has been said that Luther would not be permitted into any present day Protestant church with his beliefs. I would expand that to include Jesus! They both adored Mary! They both believed in the real presence in the eucharist and apolostic succession. In fact, as we know, Jesus started both! The thirst for knowledge rather then the faith required to believe causes sin! Adam and Eve sinned the same way, didn’t they? Wanting knowledge rather than just worshiping God!

Of course you can have knowledge and faith. But Knowledge isn’t necessary to obtain faith! Prayer and grace are. The wrong knowledge, like Protestant beliefs, may cost someone their eternal soul! I will stick with FAITH! But not “faith alone” 😃

God Bless **

– so I don’t know what he said that led to this response.

You can be sure of three things ~ 1) It was the truth! 2) It was brilliant! 3) The Protestants didn’t like it. They hate truth, you know? **

But having made that admission, let me add that “stay off the computer when your parents leave the house” etc., strikes me as a bit juvenile.

** I, for a multitude of reasons, though it was quite humorous! Sure, against the TOS, of course, but humor is a good thing. 👍 **

Hey ron is mine! He isn’t as much fun as JustAsking4, but just will have to do. (I hope JustAsking4 is let out of purgatory soon! They were intelligent and knowledgable. Much harder to win arguments once they got away from the “basic five” ) Himalone isn’t mad but no one can get him to provide answers. Ron insults and I don’t thinkhe even know what he is talking about some times. But he will have to do. I know I am teaching him a lot.:coffeeread: At times, he had seem a little more intelligent and slightly less ignorant then when I first said Hi, but I could be wrong! 😃 I love him anyway! I will even be his sponsor when he converts.:highprayer:

Actually, Pete I have a better emoticon! 😃

**Hi ron,👋 **

**I am not sure about Hisalone. Justasking4 account is “under review” for many of his unkind and uncharitable posting. Yes, if you are thinking, I have been reviewed and found to comply with the TOS. We can disagree, we can argue but it in not nice to insult someone unless you are “joking”. It doesn’t help to tell someone they are dumber than whale **** that doesn’t prove anything. Next thing you know you would be in a discussion what type of whale, where in the bible did it say whale’s crapped, etc! I jut refer people to 2: Pete 2:16 it says it all! 😃 **

You are so right, & a lot of that goes on here, Christians are supposed to love one another no matter what their difference

**Hi ron 👋 **

Actually Justasking4 account is “under review”, He may be barred. Hisalone I am not sure about. We can argue, disagree, but when you cross the line and make personal attacks towards an individual, not just his beliefs, that violates the TOS and you can be barred. They supend your access during review. It is OK to joke but not to make “personal attacks”. That was one of the multitude of reasons, I though that your joke was humorous, plus being 64 years old! By my saying that I found it humorous it “protected” you from being suspended. I took no offense because we both think we are right and it does get frustrating trying to get someone to see the truth when they are trying to get you to follow the trail Jesus and others warned the Catholic church against many times in the bible. Oh, if you afe thinking, yes, I have been under review but I actually try not to “jump over the line” I really am here attempting spread the truth and dispel lies. I like to help people find their way into the correct church just like PeteJ, Ben, elst and others. We all wish to share the faith that we love and embrace. We have different methods. Mine is called Power Catholic. We are a close knit small group that only have a Moto that we follow:

[sign]Powerful Catholic’s Motto****Live your life in such a way that when your feet hit the floor in the morning, Satan shudders & says… ‘Oh hell…he’s awake!!’
[/sign]

I follow the church teachings which while “permitted” are, in my opinion, wrongly not encouraged. I think the Catholic church will some day declare, as I believe, what Jesus meant: “If you aren’t Catholic, you aren’t saved” He says that unless you follow his teachings you are not saved. But the Catholic church “accepts” claims from others that they are christians based just on their claims" zThey follow the beliefs that their denomination decides they want to follow ignoring the real truths. Like the old sayin f says all 61,000 denominations can’t be right when the only thing the all agree on is that the real church is wrong! Now who would be against Jesus’ church? Who would ewant to see souls damned to hell for following false beliefs? I think Satan! Rather than that Pollyanna sttitude that "we are all christians. I firmly believe and it is so logical that if you aren’t a member of the first church 2,000 years old you are a member of a counterfeit denomination which is a cancerous growth that has grown and became distorted and continues to divide and divide on the Body of Christ, just like a real cancer does. Protestants are graet people, I actually have ,many friends, many of my relatives are Buddist, I tell them all “Jesus wants you to join his real church, Can’t you feel him calling? Dopn’t you feel a hunger deep inside of you? That is Jesus in the Eucharist calling you to eat His body and drink Hois blood and obtain Salvation” I do pro-life and habitath for Humanity projects with many faith-filled people. Some really great people! Many of them are “born again”, as I am. I accepted Jesus as my personal savior on 14 November 1976. What a friend I have in Jesus! 👍 Many protestants think only they have a personal relationship with jesus. I actually share the last supper with Him! How cool is that? I love everyone Protestant help get the children of the devil headed towards salvation. catholics only have to correct the distortions that have been taught for 500 years. All people are Gods creations and they all can become real children of God, real christians, if they accept the real truth!

I admire your zeal and your love for the church and even your unpolished way of expressing yourself if that’s what you feel is necessary to get the message across. What I don’t like is your personal verbal abuse that is passed off as a joke.

But then you are saying God’s Grace can’t come through a book? What about all the intellectuals who first studied religions, searching for the truth, then came upon the Catholic faith which made complete sense to them. The more I read, the stronger my Faith becomes.
