Catholic Influence in North America

the nature of the question implies the Catholic worship “style” would influence the worship "style of Protestant Churches in those areas where there are a preponderance of Catholics-

Why would one think that?

-the Episcopal and Anglican Churches in the USA all came from the Church of England which was viewed as "schismatic "they kept many of the RC traditions-I think history is more accountable for worship styles than what the larger Denominations are performing

In my area of Florida the Southern Baptists are by far the largest denomination-The Roman Catholics are predominately Hispanic-what they do has not influenced the worship style of our Congregation at all

I tend to agree. But Vatican II had a significant influence on Lutherans and Lutherans had a significant influence on Vatican II. Anglicans, as well.
