I am still new to catholicism (less than a year). (I do apologize if this is a stupid question, but I want to understand my religion better)
Am I correct that there is one way to correctly understand the bible as catholic (every catholic has the same understanding and interpretation of the bible because of the “centralized-Christian-belief”)?

Dogmatic Constitution Dei Verbum vatican.va/archive/hist_councils/ii_vatican_council/documents/vat-ii_const_19651118_dei-verbum_en.html

But just to be sure, If I understand this correctly (please agree or disagree because I don’t want to misunderstand anything in catholicism). All this documents made by the catholic church (creeds, dogma, doctrine, ecumenical council, cannon laws and catechism) were created for catholics in order NOT to invent your own belief about the bible and Christianity?
And because of these documents, we have ONE belief (each rite has different understanding and practices, but the faith/belief is the same)?

The Catholic Church safeguards the revelation of the mystery of the plan of salvation for all people. It is the Holy Spirit that gives us faith. Christ’s Church administers the Holy Mysteries and safeguards the revealed truth through the Holy Spirit which are all matters of faith and morals, and also has authority in church law.

Prayer for the Catechumens in the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom:

Faithful, let us pray for the catechumens that the Lord have mercy on them, that he instruct them in the word of truth, that he reveal to them the gospel of righteousness, and that he unite only them with his holy, catholic, and apostolic Church.

And at Holy Mystery of Communion:

Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. The Lord is God and has revealed himself to us.

There are some things which are definitive interpretations. There are certain interpretations that have been ruled out. Still, in personal reading of the Bible, there is room for leeway, so long as you don’t go contrary to definitive interpretations or into other interpretations that have been ruled out. The Church hasn’t interpreted every single Bible passage and outlined all of their meanings. It hasn’t even done that with most of the Bible, even. Most of the definitive interpretations are broader in context than any one line.

Does that make sense?

It does make sense. So by my understanding the catholic church has already defined the most important interpretations of the bible, but as a catholic, there is a room for my own interpretations for specific passages in the bible which do not go against the teaching of catholic church?

So as a catholic, I am supposed to first read (and learn) the teaching of catholic church (from you rite) about the bible, its interpretations and its theology, and later I am supposed to read the bible by myself in order to become more knowledgeable about the catholic faith? (Would you agree?)

Yes. Though you don’t have to wait to read the Bible. You can open it now. You can read, you can seek how to interpret it. It’s great to start with a Bible with good, orthodox commentary included, but that’s not always easy to find or purchase. Anyway, while reading on your own, always be open to submitting your own person interpretation to that of the Church’s should you find you’re in contradiction to it. If you find anything which you’re unsure about, or which confuses you, you can always seek the Church’s position on the matter.

Again, though, the Church hasn’t definitely interpreted the meaning of every line of the Bible, and some passages have many different layers to them. And, in addition to whatever theological import a passage has, a passage can still speak to you personally.

In trying to think of an example in which there is some leeway, one thing that occurs to me is the idea of predestination. You have leeway in that. You can say YES! or you can say NO! in certain senses. However, what you can’t do is believe in double predestination. Double predestination means that God chooses people to go to Hell, that he predestines them for Hell. That’s a big no-no for the Church.

+Like any discipline of life found here on earth . . . medicine, physics, engineering, etc., . . . the Christian Faith of the Catholic Church has a distinct set of Christian beliefs and doctrines as its . . . foundation . . . and we walk and grow within the clearly defined Holy Pathways of God defined both by Sacred Scripture and the Holy Roman Catholic Church’s Magesterium’ Dogmas and Doctrines . . .

When it comes to the . . . VAST . . . wealth of truth entrusted to us . . . subject to our . . . Counselor . . . the Sweet Spirit of our Holy God . . . within all of . . . Sacred Scripture . . . like a beautifully cut diamond . . . each truth from even the littlest portion . . . to the longer sections therein . . . can have a multitude of . . . harmonious facets/aspects . . . of truth and wisdom to be understood . . . with individuals receiving portions of understanding as needed . . . and there isn’t any . . . “centralized-Christian-belief” . . . or . . . “same understanding and interpretation” . . . regarding interpretation of each and every portion of the riches of the multitudes of Sacred Scripture portions found in the Holy Bible . . . rather our Holy Mother Church’s sound doctrines and dogmas provide needed guidance as to the foundationional deep truths upon which understanding of all else rests . . .

As for reading Sacred Scripture . . . we start even our tiniest 🎉 babes memorizing little portions of **Scripture **. . . and teach our children as they grow . . . more and more . . . **Bible **memory verses and Bible stories to feed their souls upon the Truths of the Mind and Heart of God . . . and the Bible should always be opened and taught to every age child . . . whether a physical age or spiritual age child . . . both start as babe’s in Christ . . . and need to grow and thrive in the healthy, wholesome deep sweet counsel of the Thoughts of God . . .

In Sacred Scripture, the Church constantly finds her nourishment and her strength, for she welcomes it not as human word, "but as what it really is, the Word of God."

The four main and elaborately expressed ideas contained in your post are certainly confirmed by centuries of tradition, conciliar documents, and Magisterial expressions of each and every cherished teaching on faith and morals including the doctrinal developments from each era.
