I have no idea. If it is published by the JW church, then it obviously has a bias. Your going to have to check out your own sources on that one. In general, the medical field tries to avoid blood transfusions as much as they can, so it doesn’t surprise me if they have created other, safer interventions that can be tried first. However, there comes a point where a transfusion is really the best life-saving option.
