Gottle of Geer:
The Catholic League, of course, has no agenda     ##
Those who say the Catholic League has no agenda, are people who think they can be democrat/republican first then Catholic.

I watched about 10 minutes of it and had to turn it off.
I’m praying that it will run kill itself. NBC hasn’t had a decent show on since friends died and it’s stirring up controversy to get ratings instead actually putting out a good show. Take away all the bad anti-christian stuff from this show and there is no reason to watch it. Beside the fact that my soul was offended every 2 minutes, it was just painful to watch on an entertainment level. It wasn’t funny (not even in a ‘I hate god’ funny kind of way (if that’s possible)) If it was trying to be satirical, it missed the boat. The writing was poor and boring.

I hope the hype dies and the shows dies soon with it.
It’s just a really crappy show all around.

This is about Episcopalians,it doesn’t concern Catholics.Lets be happy that for once its not us !
Also, regretably how off the mark it is about the Episcopal church USA. Is not clear.

Yet another example of why I haven’t watched TV (network or cable) in more than two years, and have no intention of starting in again now. Why one earth would I want to bring this type of trash into my home?

What people should do is petition NBC to make similar shows about Jews, Muslims, Wiccans, homosexuals, blacks, Asians, and Hispanics, portraying all of them in an equally unfavorable, derogatory fashion, as they did with the characters on this show, and see if NBC has the cojones to do it.

I’ll bet you $5,000.00 that they won’t go anywhere near it.

Little Mary said:
7th Heaven was long one of my favorite shows even though it is about a protestant family. It has a lot of good messages and lessons however, I became turned off when Lucy became a minister and I quit watching it when Eric said to Lucy (to encourage her) said “Women have been really good for religion over the past 2000 years, but religion has not been so good to women” (paraphrased).

IMO, that was a real turn-off and ruined a great show./QUOTE

I agree with Eric, hes right Seventh Heaven can be entertaining, but. AS a reflection of a ministers family, well. I think every protestant church is happy that Eric has never named what denomination he is in,if any.

Perhaps the show is trying to present a case against married priests?
