Please have your marriage convalidated even if your husband may not fully understand the necessity, and may indeed be doing it just for you.
God is working in his heart.Your convalidation may be a catalyst to bring him more fully into understanding the faith.
And kudos to him for doing this for you as an act of the will despite the lack of “feelings”. As anyone in any relationship knows, some days all there is is the act of the will to carry us through when loving feelings are sometimes temporarily replaced with anger or hurt or fear or illness.
