I can’t find it but there is one of Mother Angelica in that same pose…I can’t even remember what it said. :crying:

Didn’t know there were others who would appreciate that.
I saw a good one of Mother Angelica, too. It said something like, “We could tell you how many people tried to tell us what to do, but it would take 2,000 years.”

If I could make these things myself, I would love the pictures of JPII and Mother Angelica to say, “WE WILL NOT COMPLY.” 😛

It seems that I have to redo the liturgical spoon motivational meme. o:
But, I have found 2 memes of His Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk. :3

(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)
I thank the site “Eastern Rite Catholic Filipinos” for these memes. 🙂

And yes, I’ll be making some more Eastern Catholic memes myself. 🙂
Should I call him the “bishonen patriarch”? 🙂

Not a meme exactly but I found a blog that’s almost a Catholic version of The Onion, here’s a sample:

New Archbishop Of San Francisco Overjoyed To See City’s Devotion To God’s Covenant With Noah

(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

San Fransisco, CA––The new Archbishop of San Francisco, Salvatore Cordileone, said Thursday after his installation, that he was overjoyed to see that the city had such a devotion to God’s covenant with Noah. “Who knew there could be so many rainbows in one place?” . . .

Fun thread, but keep the images within a reasonable size, please. Post #56 shows the desired size (at the bottom), and the next best size (at the top). Previous oversized images have been removed except for those few that are just too good to pass up. 😛
If yours is now missing please repost when the image has been resized.

Guys, I think that we should just post links to the memes instead of the images. o:

Check out Eye of the Tiber blog, it’s almost a Catholic version of the Onion.

Here’s a story that got lost, it was in my RSS feed but missing when I clicked on the link:
San Diego, CA––After months of speculation, a spokesman for Catholic Answers has confirmed that the company will be shutting its doors for good this December. Speculation that the popular lay apostolate could soon be shutting its doors began last May when Catholic Answers Founder and President, Karl Keating, in an interview with Raymond Arroyo, was caught on a hot mic saying, “There’s just so many times you can refer someone to Matthew 16:18 without going freakin’ nuts, you know?” The incident sparked a storm of controversy for which Keating later apologized. “We’ve answered every question regarding the faith that’s ever been asked,” Keating said in the latest and last issue of Catholic Answers Magazine. “Our final booklet is due out next month. It covers the proper proportion of ingredients that go into the incense used in the Ruthenian Rite. That pretty much wraps it up.”
I cracked up. I wonder why it was deleted from the blog?
