Catholic-Mormon Cooperation

In the 19th century, there was a “black” Irish joke that the only time that American Nativists were not persecuting Catholics was when they were off chasing Mormons. So this piece about Cardinal George of Chicago speaking to a predominantly Mormon audience in Provo, UT caught my interest. Some of you might think it interesting as well.

That’s a pretty cool article. I moved to Utah last August and so I’ve had a lot more exposure to the LDS Church than I had before in my native Portland. It’s nice to see the cooperation.
