This is my favorite kind of thing to talk about!
-Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence
-How Great Thou Art
-Adoro Te Devote
-Veni Creator Spiritus
-Vexilla Regis
-The Glory of These Forty Days
-Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord, God Almighty
-Holy God We Praise Thy Name
-Where Charity and Love Prevail
-Now Thank We All Our God
-Prayer of St. Francis
I have many other favorites, that is just a few!
The first two, are my all time favorites to sing!
I would leave out Prayer of St. Francis. It’s not one of my favorites. Makes me cringe every time I hear it. It’s part of the bad 1970s genre. It’s even worse in Spanish. How Great Thou Art is also pretty bad. It reminds me of Elvis when he belted this out in his jump suit. Scary.
I do like most of your selections, though. I might add these:
I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say
Attende Domine
O Sun of Justice
Those Who Love and Those Who Labor (Worship III hymnal)
O Come, O Come Emmanuel
Our Father We Have Wandered
What Wondrous Love is This (Worship III hymnal)
O Sacred Head Surrounded
Sing My Tongue the Song of Triumph Triumph (Worship III)
Alleluia, Sing to Jesus
Jesus Christ is Risen Today
All Glory Laud and Honor
At the Name of Jesus (Worship III hymnal)
At that First Eucharist
I Received the Living God
Draw Us in the Spirit’s Tether
The King Shall Come When Morning Dawns (Ritual Song version with the Morning Song tune)
Pangia Lingua
Salve Regina
All of these can be found in the Worship III hymnal published by GIA. Even though their modern stuff is somewhat questionable, they do have an impressive library of the older, more solid hymns.
