Catholic musicians

Wondered if anyone had any recommendations for Catholic musicians. I like choral stuff, but my husband is very into contemporary and folk music and I don’t really know where to start to have Christian music we both enjoy.

My tastes tend to lean more towards the rock side of music, but I love Bob Rice and Backyard Galaxy, Critical Mass, Cheer Up Charlie, Sean Forrest, and Matt Maher. There was a girl at my old parish in Duluth that put out a few albums I think, more on the folky side if I remember, Danielle Rose is her name. Audrey Assad is also a Catholic convert that puts out good music.

Country singer, Collin Raye, has also released an album of Catholic/Christian songs, titled “His Love Remains”. He was in El Paso, TX (my hometown) when the Pope visited Juarez, Mexico in February and performed at the Sun Bowl along with Tony Melendrez before the Papal Mass from Mexico was televised.
